Facing our own weakness

Sometimes we just have to admit we are not perfect.

We make mistakes.

We are not good at something.

Looking at our weakness is not easy at all.

We are vulnerable to people’s judgment.

Any indifferent look or distant tone makes us feel so insecure and uneasy.

We are frustrated at eating our own bitterness and failure, and we have nowhere else to turn to.

We repeatedly doubt our capability.

Our self esteem becomes knocked down, and we even ask ourselves,

what’s the point?

If only we have strength not to shed away from our own problems.

If only we can keep going and get our blaming mind switched off.

If only we can block ourselves away from the external glares and criticisms.

And there is no if.

This makes our battle much harder but real.

It is ok we are not ok.

It is ok we feel vulnerable and lose our directions.

We just need some time and solidarity.

Don’t let us be alone.

Isolation only makes things worse.

We just need a company as we wait in darkness,

and then we look up to the rising light.
